What’s new: China’s top economic planner said it will soon release detailed measures to implement guidelines issued by the cabinet Wednesday to boost development and investment in the private sector.

Many private businesses complained that they have met unreasonable restrictions, hidden barriers and received unfair treatment in areas such as market access and project bidding, Li Chunlin, deputy director of the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC), said at a news briefing Thursday.
